İsmail Karagöz, President of the Konya Goldsmiths and Jewelers Association, announced that member jewellers and silversmiths had prepared special campaigns for Valentine's Day on 14 February on Tevfikiye Street, in the Sarraflar Underground Bazaar and at many locations across the city.
Noting that they had prepared lightweight products that would not strain budgets, Karagöz said: "Love is not for one day only; it should be there always. Gold is beautiful with a woman, and a woman is beautiful with gold."
